Graduate recruitment scheme
The Company
FFastFill plc is an AIM-listed company providing application services to the derivatives community in London and Chicago. It has over 40 clients, including some of the largest financial institutions in the world. The company employs over 140 staff and has offices in London, Chicago and the company's software development centre is based in Prague.
Whilst still small, the company is growing fast and is currently the market leader in its field. Due to the business requirements of the capital markets, the company is at the forefront of some very demanding technical challenges that can provide a significant opportunity for the development of technical skills. In July of this year, the company acquired Exchange Systems Technology Limited, which specialises in back office services. FFastFill is described as a very fast growing and entrepreneurial company and thrives on a fast-paced and exciting culture.
The company runs two in-take schemes: one for graduates and the other for students in their placement year.
The graduate scheme
The company is looking to recruit 2 graduates who will have the opportunity to grow with the company as it expands in both scale and scope. The scheme itself is managed by one of the company's managers and you will be reviewed by this person every month during the first 12 months and thereafter every 3 months for the remainder of the scheme. We encourage and promote training and development during the programme through formal training courses, on the job training and informal company training and briefings. After your first year with FFastFill, you may be offered the opportunity to obtain formal training which is relevant to your role.
The roles may involve some shift work, weekend work and bank holiday work, which the graduate should be prepared to do even during the probationary period.
Support structure
Operations Manager
This person will be responsible for your overall performance, training and development during the scheme and will carry out your appraisals and performance reviews. There will be regular opportunities to discuss and review your progress through one-to-one meetings.
Mentor
You will be allocated a mentor at senior management level for the duration of the programme. Your mentor is there to listen to any problems or concerns and offer level headed advice and career guidance. Your mentor isn't there to tell you what to do but to help you overcome any challenges which you may face. Any discussions with your mentor are confidential unless you specifically ask otherwise.
Line manager
For each placement you undertake, you will report directly to a team leader who will be your line manager. This person will set your work objectives, encourage and motivate you through the placement and ensure that any training plans are implemented in order for you to achieve all you can from that placement.
Human Resources
Starting your career in a new organisation, possibly in a new city, away from friends and family, can be exciting and daunting all at the same time. The HR Dept. will go beyond the boundaries of only providing you with advice on general personnel and personal development issues but will extend that to offering you support in your welfare matters. You will be given a thorough induction so that you can settle in with ease.

Testimonials
Testimonial from a current graduate
Being selected for the FFastFill Graduate scheme was a great opportunity in taking my first footsteps towards building a successful career. This has given me the opportunity to put my past knowledge and experience into practice whilst enhancing it. FFastFill identifies your strengths and weakness in order to place where you are best suited. If you are keen in taking challenges, being competitive, hard working and finally looking for a career but not a job FFastFill is where you need to be.
